Myth of Child Molesters Punishment

Today there was an article in the newspaper about a little boy who was sodomised by a man and he had to go to the police station to identify the perpetrator.

The child identified the man who had done that to him and the father won a great war with that man who defied him. The whole world thought the battle was won and the guilty was punished for his sins. Now the culprit will be in jail for many years. That was the end of the story for him and the father who pursued him vigorously.
But let us see what happened to that child.
He had to go through the humiliation of being physically sexually abused and has no idea what was happening to him at all.
He went through the ordeal of suffering and hardly ever understood what is it that was making the man hurt him so much.
The trauma which will be embedded in the child's mind can never be taken away forever. He would look at love with a very harsh and vitriolic look. He would be wondering if there can be a woman or a man who would not look at him as a sex object. The small boy would have nightmares of people tearing him down all his life for God knows what reason.
He would be afraid of the dark and of all strangers, even if they were women.
Can he come to trust anyone ever in life?
Not even God came to rescue him when that man ripped through his body with his lust, not minding that he is so tender where it hurts?
Then they say that the culprit was paraded in jail and he identified him.
Keeping the fiend in jail can never answer the child's pleas of help when the episode happened.
There are people who look so good at heart but carry a dagger too slit any moving object for that desire called lust.
It is too painful for that small boy and nothing can ever make the nightmare turn into a good dream.
